Comments: Hello, you met me, my wife Anita and few friends in Athens, Greece, shared few drinks and dinners, camping near each other over about a week back in the early 90s. Our tent was stolen. You found it setup in someone elses campsite and we came with the police to recover it. You shared one of our many "interesting expereinces" of our travels. Glad to hear you are still in good health and spirits. You said you would publish a book. Please reply with a link for an instant sale. Also if you are planning any speaking engagements in EU let me know your calendar. Maybe I can add few visits to it. Enjoy the rest of 2013!

Comments: Dear Hawk, we met you in Bulawayo , Zimbabwe in 1997, living together in the youth hostel for a couple of weeks. Today we looked at some pics of our great journey and showed it to our kids. Finding you on some pics was great and I browsed the ww in order to find information about you!
Unbelievable that you kept walking for so many years!
We wish you the very best and hope you're alright.

It was a pleasure to talk to you at the YMCA. I am looking forward getting to know you better. Hopefully we can help each other to reach our full purpose in life. Or a least be friends.

Comments: Mr hawk We had the pleasure of meeting you this past weekend at the fiesta grocery. We gave you a ride to your home and wow it was a long way for you to walk with a cane. We would like to offer to take you to the grocery store on the weekend when we can. Lets exchange phone numbers so we can help out and get to hear more of your story.

Comments: Hawk, I met you at a Roy Rogers restaurant on RT.50 outside the city of Annapolis. We talked for a while and you told me about your walk, and I shared some of my experiences on hiking the Applachian Trail with my daughter. I referred you to my wife's principal in Annapolis because she might be able to get you a night's accomodation in her church in Eastport. You mentioned about checking out the Annapolis paper as a verification for hiking in MD. This meeting was in the mid-1980's, and you still had not hiked Alaska or Hawaii. I guess you "bagged" them later, as well as many other places. My daughter plans to hike the Camino in Spain this next year or so. Wish I could too, but I think my long distance hiking days are over. I have thought about you over the years, but I only looked you up on my I Phone the other day when I was relating my story of meeting you to a friend. Congrats on a great journey.
