Hey Hawk, I just found out about you today. I walk about 20 miles a week or about 1000 miles a year. I've been doing this since the 1960's so I'm on my second trip around the world in a manner of speaking.

As you might have noticed, I'm from Troy, New York. I read that you lived here when you were a teenager and later performed here. I'm very curious about your recollections of Troy, as I am a historic preservationist.

Hawk! It's been a long time. We new each other in Prague, Czech Rep back in the early 90's. I was your American bartender at the Sports Bar Prague. I was the one with long hair. I have a great photo of us behind the bar and I would like to get it to you.
I hope you are well my friend, I think of you every now and then and it does my soul good to know you made it through your journey!

I managed the Expo 74 World's Fair site, Riverfront Park for the City of Spokane. You walked into Spokane, did interviews and visited Riverfront Park. You had some difficulty making arrangements to stay in local churches, so I invited you to stay with my family: wife Dawn, son Kraig, 13, and daughter, Traci, 9. You were quite the hit with our children, and you gave them your winter sleeping bag. I hope you have ended your walk in great shape and good health. Kraig is now 42, and a Det. Sgt. in charge of homicide for the Portland Police Bureau in Oregon; and Traci is 39 and the Community Relations Manager for the Spokane Teachers Credit Union.
Dawn and I are divorced and both retired. I remarried in 1997 to Marilyn. Congratulations to you for following and completing your dream.

I met you when I was 15 years old and worked as a handy Man at the Bar W guest Ranch in Las Vegas Nevada. What a place and time for a young man. I believe the owner of theat place was Brian Foy the oldest son of Eddie Foy. After leaving there I traveled in all the western states working in the fields with migrant workers. They called us Okies in those days. Joined the USAF at 18th and traveled the world. Married a French girl and speak the language. Still go there every year. I remember you siting around the Bar telling stories. Good luck

I hope you are feeling better. We met in Panama at MultiPlaza at the food court. I called you Moses because you carried a shaft, and you told me about your journey by foot around the world. That was at least 4 to 5 years ago, and I have been following your journey ever since. I hope to read your book and watch your movie if you decide to publish your experiences. Thanks for the experience of meeting you while I was on my jouney through life.
