We met and had a short discussion in Khartoum Sudan. I was there on a contract with Philips Telecoms. You gave me your Operation "Search" card. I did visit your site a few times but have not for many years. I was cleaning out today - January 2017 - and found your card, hense my visit to your site. You have been an inspiration to many, myself included. I will visit your site and read as much a I can. May you be blessed wherever you are.

Hawk, I don't know if you will remember us but my husband Malcolm and I met you when you were in Kathmandu waiting for your bags to be cleared through customs so that you could head to Tibet. It was at Kathmandu Guest House in the year 2000! Malcolm was working in the local hospital for a few months and I was doing a small bit of local volunteering. I often think of you and wonder what you are doing and where you are. Am now ordained in the Church of England and working in a parish near Oxford. Malcolm is back at his hospital job as an anaesthesiologist in London. Would love to hear how you are and how the journey has progressed! All good wishes to you wherever you are - you were an inspiration! Ali (Alison)

Me and two friends met you in Lilongwe, Malawi in 1996. We sat and discussed philosophy at dinner with you. I told some co-workers about your journey at lunch today. I think most of us were inspired to embark on a similar journey. We will probably not do it, but inspiration is not a bad thing either.

Hawk, we met in 2010 on a bus travelling from Guatemala to Mexico. You were heading to the VA hospital in Texas to have treatment for your acute back pain. We talked in the bus station, in the early in evening, in Tapachulas when you told me about your incredible story. As an Irishman I was proud you started your amazing jouney in Dublin. The next day I had an early flight to Mexico City while you took the bus. Bizarrely, in a city of over 20 million people we literally bumped into each other in Mexico City's El Norte Bus Terminal. I hope you are well and I'm looking forward to your book(s) or movie. Best regards, Paul.

Hey Mr McGinnis,

How are you? We met back in 2007 in an Auckland hostel.

I was telling someone about peanut butter today and your name came up!

If you ever write that book please let me know.
